Extract from the Preface:

“The great importance of the prophecy of Habakkuk can be seen from the citing of one of its key phrases, ‘the just shall live by his faith’ in three of the New Testament epistles – See Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38. It is only a small phrase of seven words but expresses a pivotal truth of Apostolic preaching.

It is intriguing that a matter of such importance was found among these chapters of the ‘minor’ prophet Habakkuk. Why is this so? Because Habakkuk was given an explicit message about the approaching invasion of the armies of Babylon which would cause destruction and ruin through the whole land…”
