A preaching aid pamphlet produced by The Christadelphian This booklet was first published in 1954. At a time when the threat of war is once again very real, it is helpful for us to be reminded of the scriptural principles relating to this matter. The author outlines his purpose win writing on the opening page:

“Our purpose in this booklet is twofold: first to present that teaching of Jesus and of his apostles which has a decisive bearing on the subject and several matters which arise from it; secondly to examine the attitude of the Christian Church to the problem of military service from approximately the end of the first to the middle of the fourth century AD.”
